The Person County Recreation, Arts and Parks Department is having sign-ups for a coed adult soccer league through March 5.
A player must be 15 on or before Oct. 16, 2020. A birth document and parent signature will be required for anyone under 18.
Organizers are considering playing games in the soccer league on Sunday afternoons. This will be discussed at the meeting.
Women spring and coed adult volleyball games will be on different nights, so any women wanting to play in both leagues can do so.
Entry fee is $260 per team. Coaches are asked to come by the Recreation Department to register their team and pick up necessary roster information forms.
The season includes a 10-game regular season and double elimination tournament.
The season is scheduled to start to March 30.
Game nights will depend on the number of teams. Soccer games will be held at Huck Sansbury field, and possibly Earl Bradsher, depending on the number of teams. Volleyball matches will be held at Huck Sansbury Gym, and possibly the Olive Hill Gym, depending on the number of teams.
