BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) A scam alert from the Burlington police department is warning the community to be aware of people knocking on doors asking for cash to support youth soccer organizations.
Nordic Soccer and other similar organizations are not currently running donation drives and do not raise funds in this way.
Anyone who is approached for donations in this way can call the Burlington Police Department to have an officer help identify the people asking for donations.
